Attendance:
Class attendance is regarded as an obligation as well as a
privilege,
and all students are expected to attend regularly and punctually all
classes in
which they are enrolled. Attendance is 50% of the grade for this course.
Withdrawal from Course:
Withdrawal (drop) from University Seminar 100 will NOT be
permitted
unless there are verifiable extenuating circumstances.

Evaluation:
The grade earned in University Seminar will be based on
percentage of
total points earned. Class attendance
will be 50% of the grade. The remaining
50% will be in the form of exams/quizzes, essays, journal entries,
assignments,
and/or other activities as determined by the instructor.
Grading Scale:
The following grading scale will be used to determine letter
grades:
90 – 100
