Eligibility

To qualify for membership, students must meet the following requirements:

- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in English courses
- Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Complete at least 5 quarters or 45 hours of college work, 12 of which must be in English
- Currently enrolled as an English major, English minor, or equivalent
- Pay a one-time initiation fee of $50.00 attached to your application

To join, print the application form, answer the questions, and deliver the form to the local Sigma Tau Delta President or drop by to see the Faculty Advisor. When your qualifications are confirmed, you will be initiated during the annual member initiation, held each spring. In the meantime, you are encouraged to come to scheduled events to get to know current members and applicants.
